St Brigid's Ward is the cardiac ward in the hospital and it's where you'll stay if the doctors need you to come to hospital for tests or for an operation. You'll stay in one of the bedded rooms and the doctors and nurses and all the other staff that needs to see you will come and see you there. When you need to be taken to other parts of the hospital for tests or for an operation you will brought there and then brought back. Your parents/guardians can come and visit with you in St. Brigid's Ward. The hospital also has a special ward called St. Theresa's Ward and it is where babies aged up to 1 year old with a heart condition have to stay while in hospital.
